  • How far is it to the center of Saalbach?

From Saalbach town center (Schattberg X-press) it’s approx. 800 m (around a 10-minute walk) towards Hinterglemm.

  • How far is Hinterglemm on foot?

The district of Hinterglemm is about a 20-minute walk away (approx. 2 km).

  • Are there shops and restaurants nearby?

Yes – supermarkets, restaurants, sports shops, snack bars and much more are all within a few minutes’ walk.

  • How far away are the supermarkets?

Examples: Burger Baron Shop approx. 200 m, M-Preis approx. 400 m, Billa approx. 1,400 m, Spar approx. 2,700 m (towards Saalbach/Hinterglemm).


ARRIVAL

 

  • How do I get to Saalbach Hinterglemm by car?

Saalbach Hinterglemm is easy to reach – depending on where you are coming from, for example via the A8 Munich–Salzburg or the A1 Vienna–Salzburg (route details can be found on our “Arrival” page).

  • Do I need a motorway vignette when traveling from Germany?

For the route mentioned in our arrival information via Germany, it is stated that no vignette is required.

  • Which train station is closest?

The nearest train station is Zell am See. From there you can continue by post bus (about hourly) and get off at “Steinachbrücke”.

  • Which airports are nearby?

The nearest international airports are Salzburg and Munich. A Holiday Shuttle connects Saalbach Hinterglemm several times daily throughout the year.

  • Are there GPS coordinates for the journey?

CHECK-IN, CHECK-OUT

 

  • From what time is check-in possible at Apartments Niederseer?

Regular check-in is possible from 3.00 PM. If you arrive earlier in Saalbach, you are welcome to drop off your luggage and park your vehicle in advance – subject to availability, earlier access to the apartment may be possible upon request.

  • How does key handover work?

Upon arrival, you will receive a code for your personal compartment in the key safe with your apartment key – this allows you to store your key securely, and your travel companions can access it at any time.

  • Can I check-in late in the evening or at night (late check-in)?

Yes – late check-in is no problem, as you receive your apartment key via the key safe (code system). You will receive your personal code in good time before arrival, so you can check in flexibly and independent of arrival times.

  • Until what time is check-out on the day of departure?

We kindly ask you to vacate the apartment by 9.00 AM (later check-out upon request).

  • Is a “late check-out” or shower option available?

If you would like to use your arrival or departure day as an extra holiday day, we are happy to provide a luggage & changing room as well as the shower in the wellness area free of charge (please note that regular check-out remains by 9.00 AM).

  • Which apartments are available at Apartments Niederseer?

You can choose between Apartment Bernkogel, Apartment Zwölferkogel, Apartment Schattberg and the Mini Studio.

  • How many people can the apartments accommodate?

Depending on the apartment, 2 to 7 guests (Bernkogel up to 3, Zwölferkogel up to 4, Schattberg up to 7, Mini Studio up to 3).

  • How are the apartments designed overall?

Modern, functional and cozy – combining country-house style, creativity and modern architecture, in short: “alpine lifestyle”.

  • Do the apartments have a balcony or terrace?

Yes – each apartment has a spacious furnished balcony or terrace.

  • Is free Wi-Fi available?

Yes – Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the apartment house.

  • Do you have smart TV and streaming (Netflix, Prime, etc.)?

Yes – large Smart TVs allow you to use your own streaming services (e.g., Netflix, Prime).

  • Are bed linen and towels provided?

Yes – allergy-friendly bed linen is standard, and hand and bath towels are provided free of charge.

  • Are the apartments non-smoking?

Yes – the apartments are non-smoking; smoking is prohibited throughout the apartment house (only permitted outdoors).

  • What is the kitchen equipped with?

Very well equipped with, among other things: cooking & kitchen utensils, crockery/cutlery, dishwasher, microwave (with grill function), Bora cooktop, coffee machine, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster and more.

  • Is there a starter kit?

Yes – a starter set of household supplies (e.g., dishwasher tabs, dishwashing liquid, sponge, toilet paper, soap) is provided in the apartment.

  • Which toiletries are provided in the bathroom?

High-quality liquid soaps as well as “Pure Herbs” body & hair shampoo are provided free of charge.

  • Is there a safe in the apartment?

Yes – each apartment has a safe that can be programmed with a personal code.

  • Can we borrow baby equipment (baby cot, high chair, baby bath)?

Yes – for small children, a cot, high chair, baby bath and crockery can be provided free of charge if needed.

  • Can we borrow wellness sets or a SodaStream?

Yes – wellness sets (bag, bathrobe, slippers) and SodaStreams can be borrowed on request.

  • Is a hair dryer (dryer/“Föhn”) available in the apartment?

Yes – a hair dryer is available in every apartment.


WELLNESS, SAUNA

 

  • Is there a wellness area at Apartments Niederseer?

Yes – a lovely wellness area with sauna, infrared option, rain shower and relaxation area is available to you free of charge.

  • Which sauna options are available?

Depending on the program: Finnish sauna at 90°C or 70°C, soft steam/bio sauna, and integrated infrared areas.

  • What are the wellness opening hours?

Daily from 3:00 pm to 8.00 PM.

  • Is the wellness area textile-free?

Yes – the wellness area is a textile-free zone.

  • Are wellness sets (bathrobe, slippers) available?

Yes – wellness sets with bathrobe, slippers and bag are available for a fee.


WINTER, SKI HOLIDAY, SKICIRCUS

 

  • How big is the “Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn” ski area?

The Skicircus offers 270 km of ski runs and 70 lifts/cable cars, and is among the largest ski areas in Austria.

  • Is there a ski bus?

Yes – the stop for the free ski/hiking bus is located directly in front of the house.

  • Is there a ski room and heated ski lockers?

Yes – each apartment has a lockable locker with boot & glove dryer and space for safe storage of your equipment.

  • Where can I buy ski tickets?

You can buy ski tickets at open lift ticket offices or online via saalbach.com.


SUMMER, BIKE HOLIDAY, HOME OF LÄSSIG

 

  • Why is Apartments Niederseer ideal for a bike holiday in Saalbach?

Because you are staying in Austria’s largest bike region and enjoy strong biker infrastructure at the apartment house – including a bike room, wash area, tool corner, service stand and e-bike charging options.

  • Is there a bike room and tools available?

Yes – the bike room can be locked and offers, among other things, a service stand, workbench/tools and charging options for e-bikes.

  • Is there a bike wash station?

Yes – washing facilities for bikes and equipment are available in front of the house.

  • Are there e-bike charging options?

Yes – charging options are available.

  • Can I buy bike tickets online?

Yes – bike tickets can be purchased at open lift ticket offices or online via saalbach.com.


JOKER CARD, GUEST MOBILITY TICKET

 

  • Is the JOKER CARD included at Apartments Niederseer?

Yes – during the summer months, the JOKER CARD is included from the first overnight stay. Please check the validity periods on saalbach.com.

  • What are the benefits of the JOKER CARD?

It includes many services and discounts (e.g., use of mountain lifts and bike benefits – see saalbach.com for details).

  • What is the Guest Mobility Ticket in SalzburgerLand?

With the Guest Mobility Ticket, you can use all public transport in SalzburgerLand free of charge during your stay (city transport, regional buses, trains, S-Bahn).

  • How do I get the Guest Mobility Ticket?

From the day of arrival, the Guest Mobility Ticket is loaded digitally into the “Home of Lässig” app.


GARDEN, FAMILY, EXTRAS

 

  • Is there a garden, playground and barbecue area?

Yes – a large garden with pavilion/lounge, sun loungers, playground, summer hut and barbecue area is available to you free of charge.

  • Are there any games?

In the summer hut you will find many different play items for our younger guests.

  • Is Apartments Niederseer family-friendly?

Yes – thanks to the garden/playground and the option to receive baby equipment free of charge.


PETS

  • Are dogs or cats allowed?

Pets are welcome upon request.

  • Are there any house rules for dogs in the apartment?

We kindly ask that pets are not allowed on beds, sofas or upholstered furniture. Any damage caused by pets will be charged.


PARKING, E-CAR

 

  • Is there parking available at Apartments Niederseer?

Yes – sufficient parking is available.

  • Is there an e-charging station for electric cars?

Yes – a paid e-charging station is available. Ideal for guests with electric cars.


BREAD ROLL SERVICE, CATERING

 

  • Is there a bread roll service / breakfast delivery service?

Yes – you can pre-order your breakfast online; “Katschner Brot & mehr” delivers directly to your apartment door.

  • How does the bread roll service from Katschner Brot & mehr work?

Please order the bread rolls yourself via Katschner Brot & mehr. In the online shop, first select “Saalbach, Hinterglemm,” then “4055 Apartments Niederseer, Glemmtaler Landesstr. 613.” During the payment process, please enter your apartment name in the apartment designation field. Delivery is usually very reliable between 6.00 and 7.00 AM. Order before 8.00 PM and receive your fresh baked goods the next morning.​​​​​​​

  • Are there restaurants nearby and do you provide recommendations?

Yes – there are many restaurants within walking distance. You will also find many recommendations for restaurants and mountain huts in our in-room information folder.


PAYMENT, CANCELLATION, DEPOSIT, IMPORTANT NOTES

 

  • Is card payment possible?

Card payment is not possible. Open invoices are settled in cash or by bank transfer during or before your stay.

  • What are the cancellation conditions?

Cancellations are free of charge up to 8 weeks before arrival. For cancellations up to 4 weeks before arrival, we charge 50% of the total price. For cancellations within the last 4 weeks before arrival or in case of no-show, 100% of the total price will be charged. For bookings via external platforms, the cancellation conditions shown there apply.

  • Is there a deposit?

Only in exceptional cases and depending on the situation (e.g., events, festivals, special dates, etc.) we reserve the right to charge a deposit of € 200.00 to € 400.00 upon arrival. The deposit is due in cash on arrival and will be refunded after proper return and final inspection of the apartment. Any damage or extraordinary cleaning effort may be offset against it.

  • Are there quiet hours in the house?

Yes – quiet hours are from 10.00 PM to 7.00 AM.

  • Is there waste separation/recycling in the apartment house?

Yes – waste separation is provided (residual waste, glass, plastic & cans, and paper).

  • What should I consider when leaving the apartment on departure?

The apartment must be left swept clean and with dishes cleaned. Cleaning utensils are available.

  • Is there a laundry & drying room?

Yes – laundry service options are available. Washing machine and dryer can be used after consultation.

  • Where can I dry wet clothing or equipment?

In addition to the ski room, there are further drying options in the house.

  • What is the “Home of Lässig” app and what is it useful for?

The app provides information on activities, mountain lifts, pistes, bike trails, huts, weather and more. In addition, the Joker Card and Guest Mobility Ticket can be stored digitally.


PRICES, LOCAL TAX, CLEANING

 

  • How are the prices calculated?

There are non-binding daily rates per apartment (depending on season, number of guests and length of stay) plus local tax, final cleaning and, if applicable, a pet fee.

  • How much is the local tax & mobility levy?

€ 2.95 per person and day

  • How much is the final cleaning fee?

€ 40.00 for the Mini Studio, € 80.00 for Apartment Bernkogel, € 90.00 for Apartment Zwölferkogel and € 110.00 for Apartment Schattberg.
